SRK Katrina Again In Farah Khan's next !!!

The two actors are already shooting for Yash Chopra’s next film and have hit it off on sets from day one. Cashing on the new found friendship perhaps, director Farah Khan is planning to rope in Katrina in her ambitious project ‘Happy New Year’.

The film which was shelved for three years due to the cold war between SRK and Farah has been revived after the two kissed and made up recently. The film is also supposed to star John Abraham but no official announcement has been made yet. Farah apparently wanted to cast Katrina since the beginning and has again shown eagerness to sign Kat.

“It is believed that Katrina was keen that Farah direct her sister Isabel in her Bollywood debut,” the source was quoted by the tabloid

Naturally, it comes as no surprise that Farah is casting her opposite SRK,’ reasoned the source.

The actors who were shooting in London for YRF’s next, were spotted bonding on the sets and even went out to watch films together. Apparently SRK has even been indulging her with expensive gifts. And with another movie in the offing for the two, looks like the camaraderie will continue on Farah’s film set too.

Shah Rukh Khan was detained at New York Airport Again

NEW YORK: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was detained at New York airport for two hours Thursday as he arrived to visit Yale University, where he was honoured as a Chubb Fellow.

Khan, who was detained by the immigration authorities, was allowed to go only after his hosts intervened and took up the issue with the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, according to sources.

As part of the Yale Chubb Fellowship, Khan later attended a reception and dinner at Timothy Dwight College at New Haven Connecticut with over 120 Yale students including members of the South Asian Society at Yale, before taking a return flight Thursday night.

Before addressing the students at Yale University after joining the roster of Yale University's Chubb Fellows, one of the Ivy League institution's highest honours, for promoting human ideals through art, Khan recalled he was "detained" at the airport "as always happens".

Due to Khan's detention at the airport, the Yale event in New Haven started an hour late.

In August 2009 also, Khan was stopped at the Newark Airport and was released after two hours at the intervention of the Indian consulate in New York.

"I was really hassled at the American Airport because of my name being Khan...It was absolutely uncalled for...I felt angry and humiliated," said Shah Rukh, who was then heading towards Chicago to participate in an Independence Day celebration event.

"It is a Muslim name and I think the name is common on their checklist," he had then said.

The Chubb Fellowship is devoted to encouraging and aiding Yale students interested in the operations of government and in public service. Each year three or four distinguished men and women have been appointed as visiting Chubb Fellows.

Former Chubb Fellows include presidents George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, and Jimmy Carter; authors Octavio Paz, Carlos Fuentes, and Toni Morrison; filmmaker Sofia Coppola; architect Frank Gehry; choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov; and journalist Walter Cronkite.

Is Katrina getting friendly with SRK?

Priyanka is now no longer a member of the SRK camp hence peace seems to have been restored to an extent. However, of late we have been hearing SRK raving about his first time co-star, Katrina Kaif, who also happens to be his arch rival Salman Khan’s former ladylove.

And the pretty lady is equally reciprocating his complements. She has been spotted visiting an eatery in suburban Mumbai that SRK frequents. However, the actress has denied that the eatery was suggested to her by King Khan. It was indeed Salman’s sister Alvira who had introduced the joint to her.

SRK had recently said, “I got to shoot with Katrina Kaif for the first time, which was wonderful. I do a couple of films a year and I haven’t worked with her. I think she is a stupendous actor.”

We wonder why is SRK going ga-ga over Katrina?

Now that Priyanka is out of his camp, will Katrina move in? Well, not time…but Salman Khan can tell.

I am Lucky To Work With SRK Again : Anuska Sharma

MUMBAI: Anushka Sharma has been roped in for Yash Chopra's next untitled film, in which she teams up with Shah Rukh Khan again. The model-turned-actress says that she never imagined that she would get another chance to work with the superstar.
Anushka made her debut opposite Shah Rukh in "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi".
"I didn't think I will get a chance to work with Shah Rukh again after my first film, but I did. So, I am the lucky one. I look forward to it. Mr. Yash Chopra is an institution in himself literally. I guess I would get to learn a lot from that film," Anushka told reporters Thursday at the unveiling of India Today's women health magazine.

"I have not started the shooting yet. I will be joining the crew from May onwards right after my birthday, which is on May 1. So I will start shooting from May 2. I am very excited. I think it is any actor's dream to work with Yash Chopra," she added.

Chopra's film also features Katrina Kaif.
"For me, it was a little different. The kind of films that I have done was different from this one. I was nervous in the beginning, but I think it's going really well and I am really looking forward to it

Bollywood's two majestic superstars Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan similarly share a rattling relationship Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan don't seem to be ready to bury the hatchet yet, to go by their comments at two different events Monday Business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and his wife Neeta organised a gala event last week to honour Sachin Tendulkar for scoring his 100th ton From Aamir Khan to Salman to Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai - all big names from the film industry were present, but SRK was conspicuous by his absence. At the party, praising Sachin, Salman said: "I hope record ye toot jaye...koi na koi isse tod de...main Aamir ka record bahut der se todney ki koshish kar raha hoon...toot hi nahin raha hai..." "Sachin ke record todna mushkil hi nahin namumkin hai...aur ye Don nahin main bol raha hoon. Aur bol bhi sakta hoon kyonki mera father (Salim Khan) ne likhi hai ye picture. Rights toh unhi ke paas ahin. Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) ne ki thi ye picture." Reacting to this, Shah Rukh told reporters Monday: "I get numb by the kind of stories I keep hearing about myself. I try not to take them seriously or comment about them." SRK was speaking at the unveiling of customer campaign for season five of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Why Shahrukh Stopped Tweeting ??

Shahrukh Khan, who is one of the most active celebrities on the micro blogging site twitter is not tweeting anymore! Well, well...don't be shocked! Let's just hope that the baadshah has only taken a short break from twitte
r and will soon be tweeting to We SRK Fans. On March 21st, Shahrukh Khan tweeted, “Missing my lil boy and girl....they have such small lovely hands....and such large beautiful hearts.” On the same day, Ram Gopal Varma wrote on twitter, “If all children are so innocent nd have beautiful hearts how come most of them grow up to become bastards?” Hmmm...don't you think there is some connection that RGV is making out there? Anyways, Shahrukh Khan has stopped tweeting after that. Is it mere coincidence or is it that King Khan is hurt by the statement and has withdrawn himself? Well, all that we can say to our beloved Shahrukh Khan is that no matter what anybody says, we love you and we want you to keep tweeting! What say guys?

Vidu Vinod :- SRK had always been My first choice

Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra says that Shah Rukh Khan had always been his first choice for most of his films, be it 3 Idiots, 'Munnabhai MBBS', or the yet-to-be released Ferrari Ki Sawari. "Shah Rukh was offered '3 Idiots', 'Ferrari Ki Sawari', 'Munnabhai' and other films. He is our first guy - we go to him first and if he says no, then we move on," Chopra told reporters here.
Shah Rukh had backed out of 'Munnabhai MBBS' because of back trouble and could not do '3 Idiots' because of date issues. If Chopra had his way, SRK would have been the Munnabhai of 'Munnabhai MBBS' and Sanjay Dutt would have played the small role of Zaheer, a cancer patient. "Today, I feel Sanjay is perfect as Munna and same way Sharman fits the central role in 'Ferrari Ki Sawari'. It is all about writing and getting the right actor for the right role, which is difficult," Chopra said
